Amber Mattingly

Amber Mattingly is an energetic and radiant advocate for Mind, Body & Spirit Wellness, committed to fostering community wherever she goes. She holds a BSE in Health Science Studies from Baylor University and earned a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett

Theological Seminary. In 2020, Amber achieved her Doctor of Ministry degree from Claremont School of Theology, where she met Pema and embarked on her journey with Loving Kindness meditation. This experience deepened her commitment to helping others lead robust and resilient lives.

Amber’s vision is to create vibrant, nurturing spaces where individuals can heal and grow through spiritually fluid and socially conscious health and wellness practices. She offers a variety of services, including yoga, meditation, and fearless dialogue, all designed to promote holistic well-being. Her work is particularly focused on the intersection of spirituality and wellness, aiming to unite interfaith groups through shared practices that encourage mutual spiritual growth.

Amber coauthored a study with Pema on the benefits of purification and increase meditation for both Buddhist practitioners and Christians, emphasizing the potential for interfaith groups to grow spiritually together. She is a regular contributor to learning media such as the podcast Collaborate 2022 and was a featured speaker in the livestream event “Gaining Clarity—3 Practices for Engaging in Relationship with Your Preteen.” Additionally, Amber was chosen by the National Benevolent Association to be part of their SENT cohort, reflecting her leadership in spiritual and wellness communities.Certified in RYT 200-hour yoga, trauma-informed yoga, and adaptive yoga, Amber is dedicated to making wellness accessible to all. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult children, exploring nature, creating art, and ending each day with a hearty belly laugh.
