Alicia Wright is a grounded and exceptionally skilled facilitator who has dedicated over a decade to empowering people to build strength in their bodies and confidence in their actions. Her approach is centered on helping individuals find meaning and purpose in their lives, creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their authentic selves without pressure or advice. As Alicia says, “It’s all about you. It is my hope to create a safe space and honor your needs. I create a low-pressure and non-judgmental atmosphere and don’t give advice. Instead, I work with you to help you learn skills to feel empowered to make the choices you need to live the life you want.”

As the founder of Alicia Wright Movements for Mind and Body, established in 2008, Alicia integrates a holistic approach that combines Western and Eastern philosophies. She employs a variety of techniques, including mindfulness-based therapy, self-compassion techniques, attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and yoga. Her extensive training includes being an E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher since 2008, serving in such places as UW Health Science Drive Medical Center, and a Pilates instructor since 2012 serving in places such as Group Health Cooperative. Alicia’s background also includes a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College, which she earned in 2020.

Alicia’s teaching is deeply rooted in her personal practice and experience. One of her students shared, “Alicia is a true expert, offering ever-changing, well-balanced, enlightening yoga sessions that I never get tired of. Her teachings and her soothing, refreshing reflections on life are for me the perfect way to start the day. I would surely buy a lifetime pass if it were available.” A devoted mother of three boys and a skate mom, Alicia is committed to helping others on their path to self-healing and wellness, meeting them exactly where they are on their journey.
