Drichab (Anna Mlodik)

  • Staff

With a lifetime dedicated to caregiving and healing, Drichab’s (Anna Mlodik) journey began right after high school in 1968, when she started her career as a Nursing Assistant in a Long Term Care Facility. Balancing family life and professional aspirations, she pursued further education, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1980 and later earning an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1991. Her nursing career spanned decades, with specialized roles in Neurology, Oncology, and Multiple Sclerosis care, and she became certified in the delivery of chemotherapy medication. Throughout this time, she also provided compassionate care in Long Term Care facilities across Milwaukee.

In 2002, she expanded her healing skills by becoming a Certified Massage Therapist and Body Worker, offering services through a private practice and a non-profit wellness organization. Her work included supporting survivors of domestic violence, adding a profound dimension to her healing practice. She continued to work in various capacities, including as a nurse and massage therapist, until her full retirement in 2020. Drichab’s spiritual journey has been a cornerstone of her life, deeply rooted in the Catholic Church where she served as a choir member, Religious Education teacher, and volunteer. Since the late 1970s, yoga and meditation have been integral to her well-being, supporting her career, marriage, and the raising of her three children. In 2004, (name) met her Buddhist teacher, Domo Geshe Rinpoche, and has since embraced Buddhist practices, including leading and facilitating group discussions, which continue to enrich her life and the lives of others. She currently hosts the Spiritual Skill Building study group at Joyful Path.
