Choden (Sarah Buchler) is a compassionate and dedicated professional based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose spiritual practice deeply influences her work and life. As a co-founder of Joyful Path, Sarah played a pivotal role in delivering the Yogic Healing Program, guiding individuals on their journeys of healing and self-discovery with heartfelt dedication. Her editorial expertise is also central to Hermitage Buddhist Publishing, where she collaborates closely with Domo Geshe Rinpoche to make Buddhist teachings and spiritual insights accessible to a broader audience.

Sarah’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Human Movement Sciences, a minor in Business Administration, and a certificate in Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her spiritual journey, which began in 1997, deepened significantly after meeting Domo Geshe Rinpoche in 2006. Her balanced approach to life is reflected in her daily meditation practice and her passion for cycling—whether on the road, mountain, or fat-tire bikes.

In her professional career, Sarah excelled as a Senior Account Manager at Sagacious Consultants, where she guided healthcare organizations through transitions to Epic software with both expertise and empathy. She currently serves as a Clinical Systems Analyst at Stanford Health Care, where her empathetic approach and creative problem-solving skills are highly valued. Sarah’s previous roles, including Director of Business Development at Sift, highlight her commitment to improving systems and processes for the benefit of those she serves.

Sarah prioritizes work-life balance by weaving her spiritual practices and passions into her daily routine, creating a sense of harmony and fulfillment in both her personal and professional life.
